it's the time of the year again! The AFRICAN OPEN MIC STUTTGART invites black, African and Afro-diasporic people to perform, exchange ideas, listen and heal together in a cozy atmosphere.

In a world that marginalizes people, creative expression becomes an outlet and a mouthpiece. With this event, we explicitly want to create an appreciative, respectful space that is non-discriminatory and critical of power. The stage is open to artists from the fields of spoken word, dance and music. Whether singing, reading, writing poetry, dancing, performing or simply being there

Please note: This event and especially the open mic stage are reserved specifically and only for Africans, Black people, people of African descent and the African diaspora!

es ist wieder soweit - das AFRICAN OPEN MIC STUTTGART lädt Schwarze, afrikanische und afrodiasporische Menschen ein, in gemütlicher Atmosphäre zu performen, sich auszutauschen, zuzuhören und gemeinsam zu heilen. In einer Welt, die Menschen marginalisiert, wird der kreative Ausdruck zum Ventil und Sprachrohr. Mit diesem Event möchten wir explizit einen anerkennenden, respektvollen Raum gestalten, der diskriminierungsarm und Macht kritisch ist. Die Bühne ist offen für Künstler*innen aus den Bereichen Spoken Word, Tanz oder Musik.

Hinweis: Dieses Event und vor allem die Open Mic Bühne richten sich ausschließlich und speziell an Afrikaner*innen, Schwarze Menschen, Menschen afrikanischer Abstammung und der afrikanischen Diaspora!
